Malbec - Plum and anise give this
"Bordeaux varietal its bold flavor.  Malbec's
deep color and ample tannins make it a good
choice with hearty robust meals.

Cabernet Sauvignon - This young
"King of Reds"  has a dark ruby color, a
sweet perfume, herbal background and a
"fruit bomb" of grape cherry, raspberry and
blackberry.  This complex wine will pair well
with hearty cheeses and steaks.

Cabernet Franc - This variety is
among the five major grapes of the Bordeaux
region.  This wine is lightly acidic with fruity
plum, raspberry and cherry characteristics.  
Lighter tannins and herbal undertones add
to it's complexity. This wine is excellent with
hearty meats and strong cheeses.

Villard Noir - Once widely planted in
France, this full-bodied red should be
enjoyed young.  It has rustic dark berry
flavors that finish very soft.  This lovely wine
is great with pasta, grilled meats and
Parmesan cheese.

Pinot Noir - Ancient Romans enjoyed
this classic grape as early as the first century
AD. It is full bodied but not heavy because of
it's soft. Velvety texture.  Cherry, raspberry
and violet are common aromas.  Enjoy with
simple rich foods such as grilled fish or lamb.

Caberet Franc - A sweet blend of
Cabernet Franc & Pinot Gris.  This new
wine has a lifht, delicate taste that can easily
be enjoyed as an aperitif or sipping wine.
Also serve with any light meal or chocolate
dessert.  
This is one of our new blends and is proving to be a
very a popular choice.
